March 23, 2020 Update: The Grace Street Theater will be keeping guests and renters up-to-date with new information here. The theater is now closed to the public until at least May 1, 2020, due to the University’s announcement for a mandatory telework environment through April 30, 2020 (click here for full announcement). Grace Street Theater will continue to follow VCU’s guidelines to determine when reopening and holding events will be safe, and will note event cancelations on our calendar (click here). Full-time staff members are working remotely and will continue to answer calls and emails. We thank our Grace Street Theater community for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
March 13, 2020 Update: Amid growing concern about the spread of COVID-19 (also called novel coronavirus), VCU’s priority is the health and safety of each member of our community, including the ever-growing Grace Street Theater community. In following the guidance of VCU’s action plan in response to COVID-19, The Grace Street Theater will be cancelling all events scheduled between now and April 15, 2020, and closing the theater until further notice. We will resume hosting events as soon as it is safe to do so, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes. Please visit alert.vcu.edu for University updates, and the VCUarts COVID-19 blog at blogs.vcu.edu/artsdean/. Check back here for additional Grace Street Theater operational and event updates.
